Description

This has got to be the UGLIEST Cardinal picture I have EVER taken. This time of year all Cardinals molt, often losing ALL the feathers on their head FIRST, then when the head grows back in, the rest of the body molts, GRADUALLY. By Winter they are GORGEOUS! again.
